The Advanced Neurotransmitter Test Kit measures 26 neurotransmitter-related markers in four dried urine collections taken at specified times during the day. The samples are analysed using LC-MS technology at ZRT Laboratory.
Which markers are included?
This panel includes examples such as GABA, glutamate, dopamine and serotonin, along with related metabolites such as HVA, 5-HIAA and DOPAC, and amino acid precursors such as tryptophan and tyrosine. The full list is available on the product page.
How does collection work?
The kit uses four dried urine collections during the day. Follow the collection instructions provided with your kit, including the specified timing and return steps. The product page states that results are emailed within 3–5 working days after the laboratory receives the samples.
What can results tell you?
The report provides measurements for the markers included in the test, together with reference ranges and specialist laboratory interpretation. These results are information to discuss with a qualified healthcare professional; they do not, by themselves, diagnose a condition or establish the cause of symptoms. The test is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
