Preparation is not identical for every test. Saliva, dried blood spot and dried urine spot kits have different collection instructions, and the hormones being measured matter too. A fertility test may need to be timed to a specific day of the menstrual cycle, while a cortisol profile relies on collecting samples at precise points across the day. Start with the right test and timing
